Can we please stop making gay films where everything ends terribly?

At this point, I can think of exactly ... none where two gay people meet and end up Overcoming Hardship together. While I appreciate realism in movies*, how about dividing it evenly? I could do with a few romcoms ending in heartbreak.

I was going to write a rant about this, because reading that blog post made me simultaneously cry blood and spit acid.
